With great weather all year round, our variety of Bush camps offers a unique and safe African bush experience.
The safe Hammock & Bush Camps are next to our small Waterfall.
We offer Venda culture tours & walking trails ideal for Butterfly, Botany and Birding.
Our Location is a perfect combination with the Tshipise Hot water springs, Mapungubwe World Heritage Site and the Northern Kruger Park.

Away from the lodge are our 2 x Hammock camps at our small waterfall, which allow for a unique experience to sleep under the amazing southern night sky, nested within issued sleeping bags and protected by insect nets.

Book a night in our unique Hammock camp which is nestled at our small waterfall at a walking distance from the Lodge, beneath the night sky teeming with nocturnal animal night life. We provide the hammock and mosquito net. You need to bring your own sleeping bag, pillow, torch and camping gear. We supply ONE bag of Firewood per evening.

Hammock OVERLANDERS camping site number 01
One private camping spot, nestled in the bush with one Braai facility and a water tap, COMBINED with the Hammock-camp and a backup-Army Tent Dining room, a self-catering kitchen and four sharing hidden male & female open air toilet and shower cubicles to share with other camping sites. Power is provided by a battery. We provide the hammock, and mosquito net. You need to bring your own sleeping bag, pillow, torch and camping gear. We supply ONE bag of Firewood per evening.
This area is big enough for one Overland Truck and two man tents for 24 people.

Waterfall Hammock Camp No 2
One Hammock camping spot for up to 10 guests, nestled in the bush with one Braai facility and a water tap. The Scullery and four sharing hidden male & female open air toilet and shower cubicles to share with the other camps.

We offer a FREE night in our UNIQUE Hammocks Camp with 10 hammocks: Guests staying at Mashovhela Bush Lodge & Safari Tent for 3 nights and more have the option to sleep one night in the unique Hammock Camp at no extra cost if a FULL Chalet Rack rate has been booked (your luggage belongings stay in the booked chalet).
Hammock Campers can book a catered Bush Breakfast and or Bush Dinner for an exciting bush experience.

Away from the lodge, nested in the valley at our small waterfall, which allows for a unique experience to sleep in a SAFE untouched African Bush within our Natural Heritage site at Morning Sun Nature Reserve.
