Camping Facilities

RECEPTION is at Mashovhela Bush Lodge located in our Morning Sun Nature Reserve
Ideal for OVERLAND couples , small families or groups
Up to maximum of 8 people per site for camping site 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A
Up to 24 people allowed per Hammock Camping site number 01
Up to 10 people allowed per Hammock Camping site number 02
Untouched open air bush toilet and shared shower and scullery facility
NO electricity for a real exclusive bush atmosphere
Offering privacy and exclusivity
Limited mobile phone reception
Excellent experience in a safe African bush
One bag of Fire wood per night for free
No Shop facilities…Bring your own requirements with you (only firewood is for sale at our Reception Curio shop)
5x small Two man tents are for hire

Rates Include Reserve entrance fee

All Rates are subject to availability & change

Rates for Children (Proof of age is required)
Children under 3 years stay free, when sharing a Camping Site

Campers must Note: For Nature Bush Lovers and respect the Nature Reserves, conservancy principles

To be fully self-sufficient and self-equipped campers
We supply: One bag of Fire wood and washing water
Bring your own drinking water
Do not use any wood from the Reserve
At your own risk, liability and enjoyment in our indigenous African bush
It is SAFE to walk around because we have NO Big 5
Parents are responsible for the safety of the children
Relax and enjoy the silence and sounds of Nature

Morning Sun Lodges and Camping Booking Condition

Rates Exclude: All beverages, gratuities and other activities.

Rates Include: A conservancy fee of per adult and children & 15%Vat on all Rates

Discounted Mashovhela Bush Lodge Chalet Rates: (Proof of age is required)

Rates for Children under 12 years: Sharing on the side bed

50% DISCOUNT; Children 2- 12 years pay 50% when sharing a chalet with at least one Adult on the side bed
Children under 2 years stay free, when sharing a room with parents

(Cots are available on request subject to availability)

Third Adult sharing gets a 50% DISCOUNT on the side bed

Rates for Teenagers 13-16 years

15% DISCOUNT: Teenagers pay 85% when sharing a chalet on the Loft bed

Rates for Pensioners over 65 years (Proof of age is required)

15% DISCOUNT: Pensioners pay 85% when sharing a chalet

(Subject to availability & subject to change)

Booking Conditions:

50% deposit is required to secure the booking as CONFIRMED
The balance is payable 2 weeks prior to arrival
Payments may be made via bank transfer; cash deposit or credit card
Regret no cheques or travellers cheques
The FULL amount of the booking must be settled before or AT CHECK-IN

Morning Sun Booking Cancellation Policy:

100% Cancellation charge for total services reserved if cancelled 6 or fewer days in
advance; (this includes all “no-shows” – non-arrivals without written valid reason for cancellation caused by illness or death).
75% Cancellation charge for total services reserved if cancelled between 7 and 14 days prior to arrival;
50% Cancellation charge as outlined above if cancelled between 15 and 21 days prior to arrival;
25% Cancellation charge as outlined above if cancelled between 22 and 30 days prior to arrival;
0% Cancellation charge if cancelled 31 or more days prior to arrival.
Please note: Unforeseen cancellations due to war, unrest or any other related circumstances are subject to the abovementioned terms and do not constitute a valid reason for waiver of the cancellation policy terms.
In the event of cancellation bonfire arising from illness or death, the provision of the consumer protection act apply, subject to proof being furnished.

*Tour Leader/Tour Guides/Driver must be employed by either the International Tour Operator or the South African Inbound Tour Operator

CHECK-IN TIME: 14h00 to 19h00 CHECK-OUT TIME 11h30 at Lodge Reception

Morning Sun Nature Reserve Gate closes at 21h00 unless otherwise arranged!
